Studio posed newborn sessions are carefully styled, slow-paced, and baby-led. These sessions are generally 2-3 hours and take place in my Langley studio using soft tones and artificial studio light, with your baby gently posed in a way that’s safe, comfortable, and timeless. I guide every detail, from soothing and settling your baby to creative wraps, curated props, and classic newborn poses, so you can sit back, relax and not have to think about a thing. These sessions are ideal if you love the traditional newborn look and want beautifully polished images that focus entirely on your baby in those early days. Fanily photos are also included should you want to document your growing family.
With access to high end newborn props, hats, and accessories to accent your baby’s newborn photoshoot, you won’t need to bring anything with you!
Sessions are best scheduled during the first 3 weeks of birth and are secured by reserving your due date so you are guaranteed a session once your baby arrives. Studio Newborn Photography Sessions start at $690

01. WHAT IS THE BEST AGE FOR NEWBORN PHOTOS?
I prefer to photograph newborns within the first 3 weeks after birth. My favourite days are between 9 – 18 days old. However, I can take ‘older’ newborns should my schedule allow it.
02. CAN YOU TRAVEL TO MY HOME FOR A NEWBORN SESSION?
Due to the specific environment that I need to create the images you see in my work, I am unable to travel to my client’s homes. I have a beautiful & comfortable professional photography studio located in downtown Langley, just under an hour from Vancouver. Clients travel to me from all over the Lower Mainland including Surrey, Richmond, Abbotsford and the North Shore.
03. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY VANCOUVER SESSION?
As my calendar fills up quickly, I advise contacting me as soon as you have completed your first trimester. I only book a certain amout of due dates per month to allow for flexibility in the schedule should babies arrive early or late.
04. ARE PARENTS AND SIBLINGS INCLUDED IN NEWBORN PHOTOS?
Yes some collections include parent and siblings photos during the session.
